Susan J. Pleva

Susan J. Pleva, age 68, of Mahanoy City, passed away Sunday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill East Norwegian St. In Pottsville.  Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Merrill and Rose (Gallagher) Fenkner.  She was a 1972 graduate of Mahanoy Area High school and had worked for ACME Markets, Mahanoy City VFW and for 20 years as a school crossing guard.  She was preceded in death by a brother William and a sister Judy Naer..  Survivors include her husband Edward J. Pleva Sr. of Mahanoy City, daughters Shannon Schaeffer of Frackville, Melissa Schaeffer of Mahanoy City, Tiara Pleva of Pottsville, a son Edward J. Pleva Jr. of Tower City, grandchildren Kate Miersky and Nolan and Ryan Khrehel. Services will be announced at a later date by David D.
