Verna H. McLaren, age 82, of Frackville, died Saturday morning at Schuylkill Medical Center East in Pottsville.  Born in Girardville she was the daughter of the late Jonathan and Sarah (Ernst) Hadesty.  She was a 1948 graduate of Girardville High School and had been employed with the Frackville Area Municipal Authority.  Verna was active and involved for many years with the annual fund drive for the Frackville Community Ambulance. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were 3 brothers  Roy, Paul and Ralph Hadesty and 2 sisters Ruth Ayre and Alma Scheele.  Survivors include her husband of 57 years William " Bill" McLaren ,  2 sisters Hilda Price of Roswell GA and June Zaranka and her husband Joseph of N. Myrtle Beach SC, numerous nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Wednesday morning at 11 AM from the Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home in Frackville, with the Rev. Fred T. Crawford officiating  Interment will be at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM until time of service.  David D.
