William A. "Digi" DiGiannantoni, age 84, formerly of Mahanoy City and Dover NJ,  died Monday morning at Manorcare Health Services in Williamsport.  Born in Mahanoy City he was the son of the late Pasquale and Rose (Lattanzi) DiGiannantoni. He was a 1946 graduate of Mahanoy City High School and studied electricity at Mahanoy City Technical School.  He was an Army veteran serving in the occupation of Japan following World War II.  He worked as an electrician at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover NJ until his retirement.  He was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church and the American Legion and VFW all of Mahanoy City. Preceding him in death were to sisters Mary Shovlin and Margaret Ivey. Survivors include 2 brothers Daniel of State College and Herman of Columbus OH, nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Friday morning at 11 AM from Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church.  Interment with military honors will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mahanoy Township.  Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 10 AM until time of Mass.  Contributions in William's name to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church would be appreciated by the family.  David D.
